Do you ever have those days where you get out of bed and for some reason you just feel grumpy, or sad or mad at someone or something? A day where everything seems to go wrong? These are the days where you might find yourself saying something like, “I knew I shouldn’t have gotten out of bed today.”
I think we all have days like this, hopefully not often but it’s safe to assume that we’ve all had or will have one! It’s important to know that you can change you’re behavior and your attitude will change as well.
Some simple behavior changes you can make to change your attitude when you’re feeling grumpy or upset,
[arrow_list]Smile at a stranger – you’ll be brighten their day and yours!
Do something nice for someone else, perhaps a random act of kindness.
Send someone you love a quick note or text letting them know you love and/or appreciate them.
Let someone merge in if you’re in traffic.
Say thank you to anyone who serves, helps or performs any other act that deserves thanks.[/arrow_list]
It may be hard, but force yourself to try these simple things, you will notice that by changing your behavior in small ways you begin to feel better and as an added benefit you brightened someone else’s day in the process!
